The tip or tape of drip irrigation is made of polyethylene. Each coil is (1000 to 5000 meters) and they are very soft and flexible. Band tape is used and exploited for row crops. By using this irrigation method, water losses can be reduced. The tip tape has two types of sewn side and plate type, which is manufactured and marketed. Today, it is mainly used in greenhouse cultivations of the plaque type. The distance of the emitters in the tape can be 10 cm and 30 cm.
